Little Miss Sunshine: Adorbs!

One word, adorbs. How can this movie be oh so adorable and at the same time give us heart-tugging family moments? Little Miss Sunshine is about a family going across the country in order to have their youngest join the finals of a beauty pageant. It's a heartwarming narrative of what a family truly is.
The Hoover has a lot of problems to deal with, there's the suicidal Frank, the failure Richard who just can't seem to have success in life, the 'not-talking-I-hate-everyone' Dwayne, and an addict Edwin, to top it all, the problems on their finances. The youngest, Olive, however won't understand all these yet and just want to enter a beauty contest. The thing is, it's on the other side of the country! So the whole family traveled and discovered more a little about each other.
A veeeery cute film that will surely make your hearts warm! I love heartwarming family movies like this, it's something I can easily relate to. I love each character, even the addict grandfather because, let's be honest, he's probably the one character that makes sense the most. I love Olive as well, and her determination, I wish I have that! I can't forget that scene when the whole family was like 'No, she can't do this, she'll be a laughing stock!', I couldn't help but go 'awwww!' because it just shows how they care for her. But what's even more admirable is how she's determined to continue with the pageant despite everything, because she knows it's what she wants and her (spoiler!) dead grandfather wants. Remember, no one ever win without trying.
Since the movie is more of them traveling, you get to see lots of incredible sceneries from the movie. You can also notice how low-budget the film is, but that didn't prevent it to be a critically acclaimed piece! Only proves that art is definitely priceless.
